Guitarist/vocalist Stan Erhart has been performing since his early days in Kansas City, where he was first inspired by 'Satchmo' Armstrong. He earned a music degree in Michigan, and played Chicago's clubs for years, before moving to San Francisco to form his own band. He's opened for Elvin Bishop, and shared stages with many other luminaries at Montalvo Arts Center, the Metro Fountain Blues Festival, and elsewhere. Stan is joined by jazz/funk bassist Michael Warren (Merl Saunders, Leo Nocentelli), drummer and 'Berklee College of Music' grad Damon Hope (also a Merl Saunders alumnus), and saxophonist Noel Catura (Chris Cain, Bobby Womack). Together, they deliver an engaging and unique blend of ‘Soulful Roots & Grooves’ -- from recognizable blues, R&B, and jazz classics -- to their own originals.
