The Brian Ho Organ Trio features Brian on Hammond Organ, Lorca Hart on Drums, and Tony Peebles on Tenor Saxophone.  The trio is a jazz band that uses groove, soul, funk, and blues influences as crucial elements to expand the legendary sounds of jazz.

The core of the sound comes from Brian’s use of the legendary Hammond Organ.  In 2012, Brian released a CD called Organic (along with Lorca on drums) that debuted on #11 on the jazz charts.   Lorca Hart comes from impressive lineage as his father is the legendary drummer, Billy Hart.  However, Lorca continues to blaze his own path as he continues to be one of the most in demand drummers throughout the country.  Tony Peebles has performed throughout North America, Europe, Central America, and Africa with such artists as Geri Allen, Stanton Moore, Andy Bey, and Fred Wesley.

Together, the trio will perform several of Brian’s original compositions and arrangements. and some standards and covers.   In a typical set, it won’t be uncommon to hear them play a unique arrangement of a jazz standard, a pop song like Amy Winehouse’s Rehab, and one of Brian’s original compositions.  Ultimately, they guarantee you a night of organic jazz that bounces with energy.
